A GARDENER based in Christchurch has set a new Guinness World Record after pushing a lawnmower the furthest distance in 24 hours.
Jody Fassginer, head gardener at Hants and Dorset Gardening Ltd, travelled 92.71km (57.6miles), beating the previous record of 41km.
During his bid, Jody raised more than £700 for Julia’s House and he and the team at Hants and Dorset Gardening Ltd also donated the lawn mower used to set his record to raise additional funds for the charity.
