RSPB Arne is set to host a new monthly nature group for pre-school children.
This group, scheduled to meet from 10.30-11.30am on the last Tuesday of every month, starts on Tuesday, September 25.
Ellie Sunderland, RSPB Arne visitor experience officer, said: "The best way to connect children with nature is to get them to experience it outside, firsthand.
"Join us as we explore RSPB Arne and discover what amazing creatures are living here."
During the event, which is for youngsters aged two-and-a-half to five-years-old, children will search for storybook characters in the woods, play games and participate in craft to take home."
RSPB Arne nature reserve, which hosted the BBC television nature programme, Autumnwatch, is located close to Studland.
Ellie explained: "Each session will focus on a different theme including activities, a story and a craft to take home.
"We'll be going outside in all weathers, so don't forget your wellies or sun hat depending on the forecast."
