BURGLARS who targeted three properties within a mile of each other got into the addresses by forcing open windows, police say.
Officers were first called to a burglary in Woolsbridge Road, St Ives, as well as an attempted burglary in nearby Pine Drive, on August 31.
The following day, September 1, a burglary was committed at an address in Webbs Close, Ashley Heath.
A spokesperson from Ferndown police said: "On all occasions, entry to the properties was made by windows being forced open."
Residents are urged to review their home security and set burglar alarms when leaving their properties.
"We are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen suspicious persons or vehicles in and around the area," the spokesperson said.
