A fire 'started by a chiminea' destroyed a neighbouring garden in Moorside Road on Tuesday night.
Fire crews were called to the property around 9.52pm following several calls from members of the public.
Back-up was needed from Springbourne fire station to extinguish the blaze.
It is understood to have destroyed a shed and workshop at a neighbouring property.
A relative said they were "devastated by the scale of the damage, but thankful no-one was hurt."
She said it started via a neighbours chiminea.
One eyewitness said: "The owners of the house were trying to put it out with their garden hose but were unsuccessful", she added.
The fire service left the property but returned in the early hours of the morning, she added.
The cause has not been confirmed.
