A POD of dolphins put on a spectacular show for crew members and passengers on-board a steamship off Poole.
Around 15 dolphins were seen riding the bow of the SS Shieldhall on Monday, September 4, at around 10.30am.
The ship was near Old Harry Rocks at the time on its return journey from Poole to Southampton Docks after visiting the area for Bournemouth Air Festival.
A spokesperson said: βIt was fantastic to see them all together and in such a large number.
"All of our passengers were delighted to see them and it really made their day as the weather was great too.β
The SS Shieldhall is the largest working steam ship in Britain and is run entirely by volunteers.
