THE family of a woman who was allegedly murdered in Christchurch last month have paid tribute to her.
Sharon Perrett, 37, was pronounced dead at an address in Park Gardens, Somerford in the early hours of Sunday, August 26.
An event commemorating her life will take place this Sunday.
In a statement released through Dorset Police, Ms Perrett's family said: "She'd light up the room with her beaming smile and outgoing personality."
They have requested privacy.
Highcross Church in Amethyst Road, Somerford, will be open from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 16 for anyone who would like to remember Ms Perrett.
There will be no formal service, but mourners will have an opportunity to light a candle and reflect.
Reverend Paul O'Connor will attend and there will be a book of condolence for people to leave messages.
Details of Ms Perrett's funeral have not yet been confirmed. Her family say there will be a delay, although one will be arranged in the future.
The family have also given thanks to Ms Perrett's friends, who have started an online fundraising page, as well as Detective Inspector Rich Dixey and his team for their support.
Anyone with information about Ms Perrett's death is asked to contact police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting 26:57.
Daniel O'Malley-Keyes, 38 and of Chestnut Avenue, Bournemouth, has been charged with murder. He has not entered a plea to the charge.
