The Ringwood Gateway building
THE future of two monthly speciality fairs in Ringwood will be decided at a meeting this week.
Members of the town council's recreation, leisure and open spaces committee will discuss whether to grant new licences for the Antiques & Decorative Arts Fair and Artisan & Speciality Fair in Gateway Square.
The current licences conclude at the end of 2018.
A report to the committee says the operators of the respective fairs need to begin marketing for 2019 if the events are to continue.
Councillors are recommended to authorise the town clerk to renew the licences for both monthly speciality fairs until the end of next year at a meeting last night.
