RAIL passengers will face disruption when a three-day rail strike begins on the South Western Railway network tomorrow (AUGUST 31).

There will be a reduced service between London Waterloo and Weymouth on all three days.

Hourly fast trains will run between London Waterloo and Bournemouth and some additional trains will run for the Bournemouth Air Festival.

On Friday, there will be two trains every three hours between Bournemouth and Weymouth.

Then on Saturday and Sunday an hourly shuttle service will operate between Bournemouth and Weymouth.

An hourly stopping service will run between Southampton and Bournemouth.

A normal service will run on Lymington Branch line on Friday with a reduced service on Saturday and Sunday with two trains an hour running between 8am and 7pm. There will be no trains between 1pm and 2pm.

There will be no service from Holton Heath on Saturday or Sunday.

In North Dorset, there will be buses only at Sherborne and Gillingham on Sunday.
