A UNIQUE hotel for cancer sufferers in Bournemouth is welcoming couples from across the UK to celebrate their marriage and renew their vows.
The Grove, a not-for-profit hotel on the East Cliff which runs holiday retreats for those living with cancer, along with their families, friends and carers. The venue is now opening its doors to couples of all ages, genders, races and sexual orientations who want to reaffirm their commitment to each other and renew their wedding vows.
Run by local charity Macmillan Caring Locally, the award-winning establishment is now officiating wedding vow renewals to help couples commemorate significant marriage milestones and anniversaries.
Depending on the size of the party, the hotel can accommodate weddings in its function room or well-kept garden, and also provides its own catering.
Manager Brenden Howard said: “We are determined to give cancer sufferers the opportunity to reaffirm their love and renew their vows. Creating wonderful memories which they can hold onto forever, we are pleased to be helping couples from all walks of life to celebrate their marriage in a safe environment.
"We have already witnessed some magical wedding renewals and we hope to host many more of these events here at The Grove.”
