A MAN who died at a Chinese takeaway in the New Forest has been named.
Police launched a murder probe following the death of Xiu Bin Wang at China Chef in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Detectives were called to reports of a man in need of medical attention at the eatery on the afternoon of Monday, August 20. However, despite the efforts of the emergency services, the 33-year-old died at the scene.
The Chinese national, who had been living at China Chef, died as the result of a head injury.
Investigations are under way to establish the circumstances surrounding the death and officers are in contact with the Chinese Embassy.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail pending further enquiries until September 17.
