POLICE and ambulance crews were called to Pokesdown Railway Station on Friday evening following a 'concern for welfare' report.
A member of the public called to alert Dorset Police about a man on the platform at around 6.30pm The force informed British Transport Police which also attended, along with an ambulance.
The man was checked over by paramedics and there were deemed to be no concerns.
He was taken home by Dorset Police officers before 8pm.
