A new online shopping service has launched, creating up to 45 new jobs in the area.
Wednesday (15) saw the official launch of Weymouth's Morrisons' new online shopping service.
This expansion in the area will lead to the employment of up to 45 new staff including drivers and order staff and has required building extensions at the Dorchester Road site.
The service will cover the who county, from Lyme Regis to Poole and Bournemouth, as well as up to Yeovil and the surrounding area.
The new online service will be delivering between 8am and 11pm, seven days a week.
The first four weeks the supermarket is offering free delivery to every customer.
To celebrate the launch of the new service, Morrisons staff took part in the Weymouth Carnival procession, collecting money for one of the stores current charity partners, CLIC Sargent.
