DETAILED plans and a model of a proposed new school for Bournemouth town centre will be on display for public viewing later this month.

The former law courts in Stafford Road and police station in Madeira Road will be redeveloped and refurbished to form a new all-through school for youngsters from reception to sixth.

The Livingstone Academy will be a free school and will help to address a shortage of school places in the town.

The Aspirations Academies Trust will hold a public exhibition at the Norfolk Royale Hotel in Richmond Hill, Bournemouth on Tuesday August 28 from 4pm until 7pm.

Visitors will get the chance to speak to architects, contractors and school staff.
