A 24-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear in court today following an alleged firearms incident in Belben Road, Poole.
He was arrested in Hastings Road on Monday evening after allegations that threats had been made toward a woman in her 20s earlier in the evening.
The man and woman are known to each other and no one was injured.
A man has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, threats to kill, assault by beating and theft and is due to appear before Poole Magistrates’ Court today.
