A MAN suffered a broken cheekbone and wrist during an altercation in Bournemouth at the weekend.
The incident, which allegedly involved two groups of men, happened at around 3am on Saturday, near to the pedestrian crossing on Exeter Road by the Royal Exeter Hotel.
A 25-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and has been released under investigation.
Detective Constable Kate Rhodes, of Bournemouth CID, is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact police.
"I'm also particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was driving past at the time and may have relevant dashcam footage," she said.
