DORSET-based charity Margaret Green is hoping to find six animals their forever homes this week.

Jessica is a four-year-old cat that is keen to meet and greet everyone but can be a little unsure of her surroundings so can be a little confused at first. She is looking for a quiet home where she is the only pet.

Perry is a two-year-old cat that likes to be around people but is not much of a lap cat. He should be fine to live with older children and a dog as he has lived with both before.

Three-year-old cat, Binx, is a “very sweet and affectionate” boy that used to be a stray. He is looking for a home with no other pets but can live with older children.

Leon is a seven-year-old English Bull Terrier has been described as a “a bit of a chunky monkey with a great personality.” He is very loving and happy and could live with a like-minded female dog and possibly cats but would prefer an adult only home.

Georgie is a seven-year-old male American Bulldog cross looking for a family who will be around for most of the day. He loves the outdoors and swimming and would like a quieter home as the only dog. Georgie could live with teenagers and possibly cats.

Lastly, there’s Eddie, a four-year-old Greyhound. A “very happy chappy”, he loves to play with toys, especially squeaky ones. Eddie would prefer to be the only dog and can live with teenagers but not with cats or small furries.
