Travellers at Canford Cliffs Chine 'have left the area'
THE travellers who pulled onto council-owned land at Canford Cliffs Chine in Poole have now left the area.
One motorhome, a trailer and associated vehicles were reported in the small park area on Monday.
Borough of Poole (BOP) officials monitored the site, as part of the legal process to evict the unauthorised encampment.
Local residents had called for action to remove the travellers.
Earlier today, BOP confirmed: "The travellers have now left the site and the site has been left clean and tidy.
"There are no other encampments in the borough."
