BOURNEMOUTH Rowing Club clinched the Hants & Dorset Amateur Rowing Association Junior/Senior Championship after winning their ninth regatta out of 10 attended.
Dom Bihari, Tom Cave, Dom Brancaleone and Nathan Prowles – along with coxswain Rees Gellender – have dominated their category with convincing performances throughout the campaign.
And they turned in another accomplished display to triumph at the Swanage Regatta with victory assuring them of the title with three races left.
Bournemouth took a commanding lead against local rivals Lymington RC and Poole ARC and held off a late surge from the latter to take first place.
Bournemouth will go forward to represent the association at the South Coast Championship in September where they will meet championship crews from rival associations CARA and WEARA.
