THE owner of a Boscombe property converted into flats is seeking authorisation for its current use.
The existing use of the building called St George's, at 4 Cecil Road, includes 11 flats, however applicant Mr Meakin is seeking a 'certificate of lawfulness' for the property.
If granted, the certificate will mean the applicant does not have to apply for planning or change of use permission to continue with the current set-up.
Several attempts to extend the property to include additional residential units have been attempted since 2006, with all but one rejected by the council's planning board.
The application will be considered by borough planning officers.
