FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a fire at a care home in Swanage on Sunday night.

The fire service received "multiple reports" of a fire at the home in Springfield Road at around 6.53pm.

Two fire engines from Swanage and one from Wareham attended.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire in a first floor bedroom.

It was extinguished using four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service said: "All persons were accounted for and nobody suffered any injuries, the was fire was found to have electrical origin."

An aerial appliance from Westbourne was also mobilised but was stood down en route as it was no longer required.
