A YOUNG woman from Poole who was struggling following the death of a family member committed suicide, an inquest has heard.
Danielle Christina Dixey, aged 26, died after hanging herself in the bathroom of the home she shared with her partner at Lincoln Road, Poole.
Her body was discovered by her shocked partner on July 6, 2017.
Dorset Police investigations concluded there was no third party involvement and no suspicious circumstances.
During Wednesday's hearing at Dorset Coroner's Court, Bournemouth, evidence was heard that Miss Dixey, a former Bournemouth School for Girls pupil, had been showing signs of depression and anxiety since the death of her partner's niece in May 2017.
Indeed, she'd been admitted to Poole Hospital on June 26 after taking an overdose of Temazepam and slashing one of her wrists.
Dorset Coroner Rachael Griffin recorded a verdict of suicide.
