POLICE are calling for mobile phone footage of a fight which happened after an Elvis tribute concert after four officers were assaulted.

As reported in the Daily Echo, police were called to Poole Lighthouse at 10.40pm on Thursday, May 17 after a brawl broke out in the bar.

During the row, a 56-year-old man suffered cuts to his face and was taken to hospital by paramedics. He also sustained severe bruising and a shoulder injury.

Four officers were assaulted when they arrested those they believed were involved. None of the officers required hospital treatment.

A 55-year-old man from Lytchett Minster was arrested on suspicion of assault. Two women aged 19 and 52 and from Lytchett Minster were arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer. A 19-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of affray and assaulting a police officer.

All four have been released under investigation as police enquiries continue.

Earlier in the evening hundreds of fans had watched critically-acclaimed Elvis impersonator Shawn Klush, who is on his Elvis World Tour.

Investigations Officer Keith Cutler asked anyone who witnessed the assault to contact police if they haven't done so already.

“The bar was busy at the time of the incident and we are also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured it on their mobile phone," he said.
