The sun is out and it’s the first two days of what looks set to be the best Teddy Rocks festival yet.

The line-up has taken a quantum leap forward with bands such as Feeder, Eliza and The Bear and TurboWolf on Saturday and the mighty Ash who are set to headline tonight.

Hats off to the organisers for securing such a fantastic and varied line up for the weekend.

With the main stage closed, Friday night is really time for people to arrive, get their tents up and wander onto site to have a drink and then choose to watch either a line-up of tribute bands on the Greyhound Stage, original bands and then MC Lars on the Vocal Zone stage or have a stroll into the woods to catch some of the more mellow acoustic acts.

I started by taking in acoustic sets by Jonny Phillips and Kez Hinton whilst catching a bit of The Stereoironics in the break, all three putting on great sets and setting things up nicely for the rest of the evening. After a bit of Blurd and a lovely pizza I decided to catch the Foo Forgers before calling it a night.

It seemed as though everyone else on site had the same idea so the tent was rammed and the guys put on a great gig that had everyone jumping for the rest of the evening.

After a long Friday I didn’t arrive on site until early afternoon on the Saturday immediately The Lafontaines, Shield and Ink in quick succession before enjoying a relaxing drink in the sunshine and watching the world go by for twenty minutes.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink on site and enough other thinks to do if you fancy a break, oddly enough the mechanical bull became more and more popular the longer the bars were open!

The run in to the headliners let me catch Eliza & The Bear, Mallory Knox, Black Peaks and TurboWolf before the whole site converged on the main stage to watch Feeder deliver a master class in musicianship and entertainment complimented by flames and pyrotechnics.
