WORK on a new shop at Poole's Chestnut Nursery should be starting this July.
The charity, which works with adults with disabilities, has also recently secured a £9,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund to help purchase items for the shop.
A charity spokesman said: "The shop offers lots of learning opportunities for the volunteers and will enable us to offer a wide range of gardening items to our customers as well.
"We will be helping out in the park with a few projects to keep us all busy, along with helping out at our sister nursery Cherry Tree and trips to visit other projects and gardens.
"We are all really excited and are looking forward to a grand reopening in October."
The charity still needs funding towards a new potting shed. Contact them on 01202 685999 or email info@chestnutnursery.org.uk if you can help.
