DISABLED children and adults across Dorset are set to enjoy free ice cream for another year, as part of a charity partnership.
Purbeck Ice Cream has chosen Diverse Abilities as its charity of the year for the second time running, after providing more than £3,000 worth of free desserts to the organisation during 2017.
In addition, the company raised more than £500 for the charity over the course of the year at its farm in Wareham.
Children and adults with disabilities, as well as their siblings and families, who are all supported by the charity, will continue to receive tubs of ice cream, while staff will be able to enjoy the treat in return for a donation.
Fiona Hansford, corporate and community manager at Diverse Abilities, said: “Purbeck Ice Cream has been incredibly generous to us over the last year and we are absolutely delighted that they are continuing their support for another year.
"We feel very lucky and thank the team at Purbeck Ice Cream for their backing for another year.”
