YOUNG artists are invited to join a free three-day festival in Boscombe this week.

The Big Draw Festival, organised by Arts2Educate, will take place at the Sovereign Centre between Thursday, February 15 and Saturday, February 17.

There will be workshops, performances and live art sessions between 11am and 4pm each day.

Among the activities on offer are a series of 45-minute graffiti workshops for young people aged five to 12. Participants will learn techniques before creating their own images.

Tickets can be booked in advance via ticketsignite.com/event/172/the-big-draw

Artist Lucan Art will also ask youngsters aged 12 and over to help pain a giant mural on the Thursday and Friday. Places are limited - for more information, or to book, email abi@arts2educate.com

A grand finale will take place on Saturday, February 17. During the event, artists will be accompanied by live music, and anyone who has joined the festival can return to view an exhibition of their artwork.
