A MISSING woman who was the subject of a police search has been found safe.
Police earlier appealed for help to find Cheryl Bailey, 47, who was reported to have gone missing from her home in Poole.
She was last seen at her home address in Dewlish Close at around 7pm yesterday, Wednesday, February 7.
At around 8am today, it was discovered that she was no longer at the address and her family had been unable to contact her.
Chief Inspector Heather Dixey, of Dorset Police, said earlier: “We are carrying out a number of searches in the area around Cheryl’s home and making extensive enquiries in our efforts to find her."
But police later put out a statement saying: "Following searches by officers, Cheryl was found safe in Bournemouth this afternoon.
"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal."
