EMERGENCY services attended a three-vehicle crash on the A31 on Friday evening.
The collision, which happened at 6.39pm, took place in the westbound carriageway on the route into Bournemouth, near Stoney Cross.
It involved a silver Fiesta, silver BMW and Ford Transit van.
Two other vehicles stopped at the scene to assist.
One lane was closed and reopened at 9.03pm.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue control said it had received a call at 6.54pm.
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance said they received reports of the crash at 6.47pm.
Three ambulance crews attended along with a ambulance officer and hazardous area response team. One patient in their early teens, a man and a woman were assessed and taken to Southampton General hospital.
Their injuries are are not life-threatening. Three fire engines were dispatched to the scene, along with a 'special response vehicle'.
Traffic was backed up for miles towards the M27, with vehicles being diverted onto alternative routes.
