HUNDREDS of people put their best foot forward to raise vital funds for their chosen hospital ward.
Bournemouth Hospital Charity’s first ever Walk for Wards saw more than 270 people take on a 1k, 4k or 8k walk at Avon Heath Country Park raising more than £7,000.
Charity fundraiser Karen Smith said: “Thank you to all our staff, patients and hospital supporters who turned out on a glorious sunny day to walk for the ward or department or their choice. We had representatives from throughout the hospital.”
