DOGS were the stars of the show at a special Bourne Free event this weekend.
Organisers staged the show following the popularity of a previous event in 2015.
And it attracted some beauties, with a category to suit all kinds of lovable pets.
They included waggiest tail, fancy dress prize, dog like its owner, pedigree puppy and veteran, pedigree dogs, non canine entry, judges' favourite, agility course and Bourne Free dog of the year.
Judges were Lucinda Lashes, radio presenter Adam Jackson Gane and Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner and Bourne Free trustee Martyn Underhill.
And there was some special doggie ale from Brewhouse and Kitchen on offer as well as treats and prizes for first, second and third place.
Mr Underhill said: "I am a trustee for Bourne Free and this is all about raising awareness and raising funds for Bourne Free."
