WORK to build 46 apartments near Poole railway station will see motorists affected next month.
Motorists will be unable to turn right out of Sterte Road into Holes Bay Road for six weeks starting on Monday, February 6.
The lane closure is required for the installation of a surface water sewer for a new development being built at the junction.
Sterte Road will also be closed to through traffic during the works, which are due to finish on Monday, March 20.
The development, comprising 35 two-bedroom apartments and 11 one-bedroom apartments, was granted planning permission by Borough of Poole in July 2015.
Eighteen of the flats will be affordable housing and made available to people registered on the council's housing waiting list, said a borough spokesman.
