TWO local venues are showcasing exciting dance productions this autumn as part of a collaboration aimed at bringing audiences extraordinary performances.

A success in spring, Dance Along the South Coast returns in October and runs through to December at Pavilion Dance South West in Bournemouth and the Lighthouse in Poole.

Each venue plays host to two shows that you can see as part of an exclusive ticket offer.

When you buy one full-price ticket to any feature performance you can see another dance show at your venue of choice for half price.

Beginning Dance Along the South Coast’s autumn season of spectacular performance is Leviathan from the multi-award-winning James Wilton Dance. This is man versus nature in Wilton’s breathtaking reimagining of Herman Melville’s groundbreaking novel Moby Dickat Pavilion Dance, Bournemouth, on Thursday, October 6.

On Monday November 14, Poole welcomes Balletboyz’s Life. Inventive, vivid and memorable the show takes an elegant and provocative look at life and death, presented in the company’s inimitable style.

For festive fun see The Demon Barbers The Lock In ‘Christmas ‘Carol’ at Lighthouse, Poole, on Sunday November 20. Dance Along the South Coast concludes with Our Mighty Groove by Uchenna Dance at Pavilion Dance, Bournemouth, on Thursday December 1.

Dance Along the South Coast is also running further afield with participating productions at The Mayflower in Southampton and The Point in Eastleigh.
