A Miller and Carter steakhouse is set to be the final restaurant in the new BH2 complex in Bournemouth town centre.
The company, which already has a restaurant in Wallisdown, is applying for a licence to serve alcohol from 10am til midnight.
The restaurant would take two of the upper units in the complex, which is due to open in 2017.
There would be tables both indoors and outdoors on the upper terrace, and the restaurant would also be open all night on New Year's Eve.
Miller and Carter say they pride themselves on their 'steak experience', with all their chefs going through a special 'steak school' to make sure the meat isn't 'ruined in the last five minutes'.
They serve 11 different types of steak, on or off the bone, as well as accompaniments including lobster mac and cheese, bourbon glazed purple carrots and a half rack of ribs.
Las Iguanas, Joe's Kitchen, Bella Italia, Nando’s, Handmade Burger Co, Coast to Coast, Ask Italian, TGI Fridays, Frankie and Benny's and Prezzo are already signed up, as are Costa.
