Firefighters were called to a car fire this afternoon.
One crew from Christchurch was sent to Belle Vue Road at 3.30pm where a car was alight.
Police were also called to attend the scene to assist with the car's recovery after it had been extinguished using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
No one was injured in the incident and the stop message was issued by firefighters at 3.45pm.
