An abnormal load will be travelling with a police escort tomorrow, and motorists are being warned there will be some delays along the route.
The transport of the 39m long boat to Brittany Ferries at the docks in Poole will start from the A31 at Ringwood at 10am.
The load will continue along the A31, before joining the A350 at Sturminster Marshall, and finally the B3068 in Poole.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Officers would like to thank everyone for their patience during this time.”
The escort coincides with the first day of the Bournemouth Air Festival, however Dorset Police has assured motorists that it won't cause major delays.
They tweeted: "The route is westbound and should avoid a majority of the Airshow traffic taking the A338 from Ringwood into Bournemouth".
