WHEN we think of great summer tunes, Mungo Jerry is one of the first that springs to mind.

So what could be better than Poole's Summer Breeze festival on Thursday (28) with Mungo himself headlining?

The entertainment starts at 7pm.

Thanks to support from Mr Kyps, renowned singer Mungo Jerry will be headlining at the Fish Shambles opposite the Lord Nelson on Poole Quay, playing some big hits and songs from Rewind, the latest critically acclaimed album.

Music continues thoughout the night with duo Not Just Sax opposite the Poole Arms, keyboard from Karl Lattimer plus Soul & Jazz from Bafaana at the Custom House.

Try some traditional dance with morris & maypole dancing or budding performers can brush up on their circus skills at Jamie Jigsaw’s Circus Workshop. Take home some top tips from the expert – from juggling and plate spinning, to diabolo and ribbon twirling, there will be something for all ages and all abilities.

There’s plenty more for families to do including children’s rides, bouncy castle plus entertainment from street performers including unicycling!

The evening finishes with spectacular fireworks over Poole’s iconic harbour at 10pm.
