VETS’ surgery Natterjacks is set to open its new practice at Poole.

It will open on Monday, July 11, 8.30am, in the premises that were formerly the Darby’s Corner pub.

Natterjacks said: “After six long months of toil, trouble and more twists and turns than Alton Towers, we are finally there and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to all these many months – though don't be surprised to find us all still in our decorating overalls upon your first visit!”

Natterjacks, which operates under the watchwords “friendly, caring, independent, affordable”, has an existing clinic at Christchurch Road, Boscombe East.

Its announcement about the Poole opening said: “Even if you are an established member of our Boscombe East family, or even if you don’t need to see a vet, we would still love to see you and show you around our shiny new practice.

“You can be assured of a warm welcome from the friendly Natterjacks team that many of you will be so familiar with already.”

Appointments with the new practice at Poole can already be made by ringing the Bournemouth practice on 01202 427404. From July 11, the Poole surgery can be contacted directly on 01202 051141.

The arrival in Poole will be marked by opening offers including free initial consultation, £10 boosters and £20 vaccine courses for the first two months.

Natterjacks said in a message to customers: “We will also be hosting a big festival later in the summer for all our friends across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch – more details will be posted on our website so make sure to visit regularly.

“Thanks to you all for your support and patience over the last few months, it has taken a long time to reach this point and our growing family has made it a bit cosy at times in Bournemouth but as always you have all been absolutely wonderful.”

Natterjacks was established in Bournemouth a little over four years ago and says it is one of the fastest-growing and highly-rated practices in the area. It prides itself on independence from insurers, diet suppliers, drug companies and corporate ownership, as well as an emphasis on charitable work and reinvestment.
