Body found in flat after worried friends raise concerns for man
THE BODY of a man was found in a Bournemouth flat after friends voiced concerns they had not seen him for several days.
Emergency services were called to Ascham Road in Charminster just before 5.30pm on Monday.
Passers-by saw two ambulance vehicles at the scene, followed by undertakers.
The man, thought to be in his 60s, is believed to have lived alone at the premises.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the coroner has been informed and said there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
