A PUBLIC relations company in Poole has played a key role in three high-profile investments in Bournemouth in the past two months.

Sandbanks-based Liz Lean PR (LLPR) began the summer by managing PR for the launch of Caribbean restaurant Turtle Bay in central Bournemouth.

It ran media relations, as well as developing and managing a tailored guest list that brought 700 people flocking to the launch. The restaurant was fully booked by 10am the next day.

A month later, it provided media relations and event support for the first Bournemouth University Festival of Enterprise, securing speakers and media partnerships.

And the business oversaw media relations for the launch of the Oceanarium’s new penguin closure, including an event for the area’s business community.

Ajith Jayawickrema, founder and director of Turtle Bay, said: “Liz Lean PR was definitely the right team to get Turtle Bay off to a flying start in Bournemouth.

“Efficient, full of ideas and with an impressive contact list, they delivered over and above what we asked – and were great fun to work with too.”

Liz Willingham, managing director of Liz Lean PR, said: “It’s been a great summer for Bournemouth with the arrival of some significant new investments to the town.

“We’re thrilled to have been chosen to represent these great brands, who appointed us because of our excellent local connections and strong track record in regional and national media relations.”
