A MAN who smashed a Christchurch Library window in a ‘moment of madness’ has been ordered to pay £386.
Michael John Neall, 35, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage when he appeared in the dock at Bournemouth Magistrates Court.
The court heard that Neall, of Burton Road, Christchurch, had been in an argument with his partner and lost his temper on October 5.
Neall, who represented himself, said: “It was a moment of madness; I’d had a domestic with my partner and lost my temper.
“There is no excuse for what I did.”
Neall was ordered to pay a total of £386.63, which incorporated a £150 fine as well as compensation and court costs.
