A MAN will appear in court following a crash at a Bournemouth supermarket this summer.
Ivan John Hewitt, 43, who lives in Bournemouth, has been charged with dangerous driving in connection to an incident at the town's biggest Tesco store on Wednesday, June 26.
During the collision, a male aged 42 lost control of his blue Kawasaki motorbike in the car park of the Riverside Avenue supermarket, plunging through a glass fire exit.
The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to Poole Hospital as a precaution.
The scene of the crash was cordoned off during the afternoon that day while police officers investigated the incident.
At the time, PC Tim Brehmer of the Eastern Traffic Unit appealed for information to contact Dorset Police, adding: “I would urge anyone who may have information about the manner of driving by the rider prior to the collision to call the non-emergency number, 101.”
Hewitt will appear at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on November 26 this year.
