A MAN arrested on suspicion of causing the death of a Wimborne cyclist by careless driving has been bailed again.
A 38-year-old from Southampton who was driving a white Ford Transit minibus was arrested following the death of David Timothy Irving, 48, last year.
He was initially bailed until March 15, but a spokesperson from Hampshire Police said he has now been re-bailed until April 29.
A 56-year-old from Fordingbridge who was driving a silver Mercedes coupe has been released without charge.
Mr Irving died at the scene of a road traffic collision on Southampton’s A33 Mountbatten Way in December 2012 as he rode to work.
His devastated family paid tribute to the keen cyclist, describing him as “kind, thoughtful and devoted to his long-term partner and two beautiful daughters.”
