FIVE Bournemouth artists will be exhibiting their work in a special one-off charity art event this Sunday from 4-8pm at The Gallery on the first floor of the Premier Inn on Westover Road.

The evening will consist of an exhibition of the works of four painters and a sculptor and also a silent auction and raffle to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Bright Futures brings together the works of Lois Clark, Christopher J Fraser, Linda Joyce, Rishi Ludgate and Harriet Muller.

Each artist has a unique interpretation of the theme in a variety of media ranging from clay, oil, acrylics and gloss paints. Linda Joyce (pictured) is best known for her sculptures of icons such as Amy Winehouse, Marilyn Monroe and Jimi Hendrix, while Harriet Muller is an award-winning artist that creates innovative vision board paintings.

All works will be for sale. It is the first time the Premier Inn on Westover Road will be used to hold an art exhibition and organiser Flavius Fangli told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "We're thrilled to be able to support such a great charity, providing hope and inspiration for the future for sick children."

The event will also feature generous raffle prizes from Flirt Cafe Bar, Highcliffe Castle and Luciano Rosso.
