KENNETH Branagh will be beamed via satellite to the big screen at the Regent in Christchurch with his barn-storming new interpretation of Shakespeare’s darkest of plays.

Macbeth runs on July 20 at 8.30pm.

National Theatre Live will be broadcasting direct from the Manchester International Festival’s electrifying production of Macbeth, with Kenneth Branagh (My Week with Marilyn and Hamlet) in his first Shakespeare performance in over a decade as Macbeth with Alex Kingston (Doctor Who and ER) as Lady Macbeth Macbeth is directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh and this new production of Shakespeare’s tragic tale of ambition and treachery unfolds within the walls of an intimate deconsecrated church.
