THE hospitality industry’s most influential buyers will descend upon Bournemouth this week for the south coast’s largest hospitality event, the Hotel and Catering Show.

Now in its 55th year, the show is regarded as the essential showcase for the industry and takes place at the BIC on Tuesday and Wednesday.

It will feature up to 200 suppliers including Ringwood Brewery, Purbeck Ice Cream, Coastline Produce, New Forest Spring Water, Wrights Dairies, New Forest Ice Cream and many more. Exhibitors will also be providing product and cooking demonstrations, tastings and advice.

To coincide with the event, celebrity chef James Martin will cook at the Highcliff Marriott Hotel on Tuesday night.

He will join forces with Luke Matthews, executive chef at Chewton Glen and the executive chef at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott, Clyde Hollett to create a four-course gourmet dinner.

“Attendees will be able to see the very best in products and business solutions, tap into fresh ideas for food, hospitality and accommodation and explore the latest technology, equipment and services,” says show organiser, Anna Wallis.

“Anyone with an interest in the food and hospitality industries should mark the show on the calendar.”
