ARE we going to get an Indian Summer? It’s not looking too hopeful so this week’s selection could well be the last of the summer wine.

This quality example from the Languedoc region in the south of France well and truly ticks that box with its citrus and vanilla charged aromas.

The mouth feel is smooth and structured and leaves you longing for a further sip.

The end result is a wine that takes the blossom and apricot flavours from the Viognier and meets with the with the floral and subtle spice tones of the Cataratto.

Delicate and beautifully poised, although not cheap, this wine is guaranteed to impress.
