ROCK fans have until next year to prepare themselves for an access all areas insight into the life of a legend in Colwyn Bay.

Status Quo's Francis Rossi will take to the Theatr Colwyn stage with his spoken word show I Talk Too Much on Friday, June 5.

Rossi's stop in Colwyn Bay is part of a a mammoth 60-date spoken word tour – fresh from the success of his best-selling autobiography 'I Talk Too Much' and number one country album 'We Talk Too Much' - in response to the unprecedented demand of his 2019 shows.

Rossi said: "I’ve been thrilled by the success of my first spoken word tour. The venues have been packed, the fans have been having a great time and I’ve been enjoying it too. “The venues and fans wanted us to go out again, so we’ve bowed to demand and we’ll be on the road next spring.”

The lead guitarist to the equally iconic foil the late Rick Parfitt, the refreshingly frank and to the point Rossi's show will see him in conversation with best-selling author Mick Wall, where he will no doubt burst a few bubbles about life as a rock god.

As well as the occasional acoustic interludes, fans can expect to hear the invaluable insight of the cheeky rocker with the warts and all version of everything from opening Live Aid to scoring 60 chart hits in the UK - more than any other rock band - including 22 Top 10 anthems.

A post show book signing will also take place, Francis Rossi will sign copies of his best-selling autobiography.
