NEW shipmates are joining this year’s HMS Bestival. The festival, which is this year celebrating its tenth birthday, already has a phenomenal line-up including Snoop Dogg, Elton John, Franz Ferdinand and Fatboy Slim, inset.

The pied piper of dance and Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong is set to spin the decks and get everyone dancing.

Soul Singer John Newman, who recently had a No 1 single with Love Me Again, will be hopping aboard, as will electronic artist Pretty Lights.

Classy trio and Bestival regulars Kitty Daisy & Lewis will be bringing their charming sound and young singer-songwriter Ella Eyre, who recently scored a No 1 with Rudimental, will also be on the bill at the event at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from September 5 to 8.

Festivities start on the Thursday night with rapper M.I.A and DJ Justin Robertson.

Swing and hiphop duo The Correspondents will also be playing at the event.

The Rob da Bank stage is also set to kick off on Thursday with acts such as indie five-piece Dog Is Dead and rock and electronic fusion Mixhell.
