Bastille – All This Bad Blood Virgin EMI

AFTER two mixtapes in 2012 Bastille are back with this amazing new album.

They have been the big British success of 2013 for many after their first album Bad Blood went straight to number one in March and have done well in the US too.

The Londoners released this as an extension of that brilliant album this sits equally as impressive on its own.

Half the songs are taken from their mixtape and covers release Other People’s Heartache and the other half are some of Bastille’s most enchanting and well-received unreleased tracks.

This album has unique covers and love songs and everything has their sound to it.

The Silence and Poet are particular favourites as they remain disarming with every listen, using Dan Smith’s smooth vocals and the carefully put-together lyrics.

There are covers with the London quartet really putting their own stamp on Caramel High’s What Would You Do.

These two discs are full of flawless and captivating songs and the only complaint is that there is not a third.
