MUSIC lovers are in for a treat when the launch event for Bournemouth’s Oxjam Festival takes place next month.
Twenty-five bands will play across three stages at the Shelley Theatre in Boscombe on Sunday, October 22, all with a shared goal of raising money for Oxfam.
There will be a Theatre Stage, a Lighthouse Stage and an Acoustic Stage. Acts lined-up include Disco’s Out (Murder’s In), Sirpico, Infinite Jest, Krista Green + The Bees, Sam Horton and Jonny Phillips.
There will also be a vintage clothes stall and cake stand.
Oxjam, which is now in its 10th year, is the UK’s largest grassroots festival with events taking place all over the country this autumn.
The events are organised by volunteers with the aim of raising vital funds for Oxfam to help change the lives of those in poverty.
Early bird tickets are available at £4 plus a booking fee.
Adult tickets will then be £5 and £2.50 for under 18s.
A family ticket for two adults and two under 18s is £10.
Takes place between 12pm and 10pm.
